Erwin van den Burg studied biology at Wageningen University and received his PhD from Radboud University Nijmegen, both in The Netherlands. His specialization is stress biology.
After his PhD, he conducted research in France and Germany on stress and anxiety, and is currently working at the Academic Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV) in Switzerland.
In addition, Erwin van den Burg has experience in management and has investigated how research at a research school at Radboud University Nijmegen can be better organized and coordinated.
